Used SEAT

In 1950, Spain was lagging behind some other European countries when it came to cars. Enter SEAT on the 9th of May. The brand set about getting people moving by automobile and by 1967 they were Spain’s biggest player. From the first 1400 model to the popular Ibiza and Leon of today, SEAT has become a performance-led brand with vehicles that are a little kinder on the wallet. That’s because, as part of the Volkswagen AG group, buyers can get cars from SEAT with all the components of a VW or Audi, for less. This multicultural maker mixes elements of Italian design, German precision and a Spanish spirit to create high-quality cars that will suit anyone wanting a good reliable make that looks good too.

Why buy a used SEAT?

SEAT is known for high-build quality (thanks to the partnership with Volkswagen), reliability, and affordability. Everything you want in a used car. And although they share many parts, SEATs tend to fall in value faster than equivalent VW or Audi models. This makes them an ideal used option as you can find their well-built vehicles, in good condition, for a competitive price.

Popular SEAT models

SEAT have a slightly youthful edge. Add affordable prices, and you make models like the Ibiza and Leon popular as first or second cars for the younger generation. However, all SEAT cars are family-friendly too with various body styles, spacious design, comfortable driving and lots of safety features.

SEAT Leon

Body styles:

Three-door and Five-door hatchback

Five-door estate

The SEAT Leon won What Car? Car of the Year Award for best family car in 2022 and 2021. Pretty impressive. The estate is more traditional while the hatchback makes a funkier family option. No matter which body style you choose, both have a sporty look, good handling and dynamic driving abilities as well as practical features like a spacious boot. The newer SEAT Leon e-HYBRID is a plug-in hybrid vehicle, which provides a more eco-friendly electric driving experience.

Trim levels:

  • SE and SE Dynamic

The newest standard SE models have 16” alloys, LED lights, air conditioning, parking sensors, keyless start and an 8” media system that works with your smartphone. The SE Dynamic is slightly upgraded with 17” tri-spoke alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, a high-spec ‘Digital cockpit’ and a larger 10” touchscreen multimedia system.
