• 1.3L Turbo 4xe PHEV 4x4 AT6: a plug-in hybrid engine, this offers plenty of power and fuel efficiency.  

Although the Jeep Compass is designed to be mostly driven on tarmac, it still comes with a four-wheel-drive option and Selec-Terrain technology which makes it very capable in a range of driving conditions. Plus, the models don’t hold back on any of the technologies and comforts you’d expect in the interior, with four trim options available:  

• Sport: the entry-level model, this option still has plenty of interior and exterior features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, heated wing mirrors, a 3.5-inch digital screen, air-con and a DAB radio with a USB port.

What should you look out for in a used Jeep Compass? 

Having only been manufactured since 2018, Jeep Compass models are relatively new and reliable. Yet, alongside the standard checks of the MOT and service history, there are some areas you need to look at before buying a used Jeep Compass:  

• Problems with the electrical systems, including the digital instrument cluster in the top-level trims.  
• Engine failures caused by problems with the voltage regulator.  
• Limpness or jerking with the six and nine-speed transmissions.
