Buying a used estate car

Estate cars offer unrivalled boot space, essential for sporting enthusiasts, campers, and those who love to move. The estate combines the low profile of a hatchback with additional rear boot space, the car is essentially stretched to allow for additional storage space in the boot. Many estates have fold down seats to provide even more space in the back. An Estate can be as economical and fun to drive as a hatchback, providing that middle ground for motorists that need a car for errands and work in the week, that can double up as storage at the weekend for sporting goods or flatpack furniture.

History of the estate

The original use for estate cars in the UK was to transport wealthy individuals from their main residence to their country estates. They offer great practicality, huge boot space whilst maintaining good performance and handling.
