What warranty do I get with an electric vehicle?

All Spoticar vehicles come with either a minimum of 12 months' warranty (for vehicles up to 3 years of age), or minimum 6 months' warranty (for vehicles over 3 years of age). So that you can drive with complete peace of mind, every retailer will give you a State of Health (SOH)  certificate to check the health and wear of your electric car’s battery. On top of this, all of our approved used brands come with a 8 year/ 100,000 mile traction battery warranty from New.

What preparation does a used electric car go through before I buy it?

All our used electric vehicles are carefully selected and undergo a rigorous 110-point check and preparation process. This includes all of the dynamic components (wheels, tyres & brakes), as well as the entire electrical systems (SOH status of health of the traction battery, 12V battery, charging cables, ECU reset & on-board electronics). Don't worry, your used electric car will have been checked, checked and checked again. So, you can have a stress-free driving experience.

Does Spoticar offer options for installing a charging point in your home?

Spoticar has a partnership with Octopus Energy, which offers an at home charging unit, full installation and an in-person expert to demonstrate and ask any questions you may have. You can then take advantage of a recharging solution with a lower price than national charging stations and custom installation recommendations. Our aim is to keep you on the road, with the best solution for you.

Can I only find out more information about used electric vehicles online?

No! There are over 300 retailers all over the UK, with over 1,200 on-site staff who are trained and ready to give you all the answers you need!
