The Mercedes C Class Estate makes a comfortable and practical family car. A great option if you’re looking for a bit more room internally and a bigger boot. All trim styles come with Mercedes signature luxury interior and high-tech elements. Even when buying older used models, you’ll come across LED lights, reversing cameras and excellent multimedia systems to keep kids entertained. The newest models also have upgraded safety features like automatic tyre pressure monitoring, traction control, autonomous breaking and even lane-assist. Mercedes C Class Coupé
The Mercedes C Class Coupé is a sleek and sporty model. Practicality is not it’s strength, with less space and only a small boot which means it doesn’t make a great family car. However, it is great fun to drive. It comes in multiple AMG performance models to give a powerful and stylish experience. The features you’ll find inside and outside will vary but some of the current models have impressive premium additions like LED lights, high-resolution and vivid colour touch-screen multimedia systems, surround sound, keyless start and even a 360-degree camera.
What should you look out for in a used Mercedes C Class?
Vibrations. If you feel vibrations while driving, it might mean your active driving sensors are failing. You can buy and install new ones or take your car in for servicing.
MAF (Mass Air Flow). This sensor should be replaced every 50,000 miles and cleaned with sensor cleaner regularly, otherwise it can cause problems with power and acceleration.
Headlights. Some C Class have issues with the headlights letting in moisture and failing. Check all your lights are working in a reflective surface and replace defective bulbs straight away.
Mirrors. Electric folding mirrors can sometimes fail – either making excessive noise while folding or not folding at all.
